Cuttings

Suggestions:

  • Cuttings  can be taken from a lot of plants.  Some local common plants that cuttings can be taken from are Hibiscus and most vines.
  • The best time to take cuttings is the morning of the swap but, the night before will work also.
    • Keep cut end in water or in a damp paper towel in a cool place.
    • Make sure the cuttings have at least two nodes.
    • Make a note of which end is the stem end (end closest to the mother plant).

Propagate plants by using cuttings is very easy.
